BOISE, Idaho – Boise State's offensive line was named to the Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll, the organization announced. Presented annually to the nation's most outstanding offensive line unit, this is the only major award in college football given to a group, not an individual.

The Broncos have a 5-1 overall record and 2-0 mark in Pac-12 play, earning spots in the Associated Press (No. 23) and US LBM Coaches (No. 24) Polls for the first time since the start of the 2025 season. Boise State leads the nation in time of possession, averaging 36:41 per game, and ranks ninth in rushing offense, averaging 234.5 yards per game. Running back Dylan Riley has 835 rushing yards, most in the nation, tallying four 100-yard performances. Backfield mate Sire Gaines has a pair of 100-yard efforts as well, marking the fifth season in program history the Broncos have had multiple games with multiple 100-yard rushers.

Boise State ranks 11th in the country in first downs (145) and fewest turnovers lost (3). The Broncos allow less than one sack per game (0.83), the 13th-best mark in the nation. The unit has been elite on 3rd downs, converting on 50.6% of its opportunities, 19th-highest in the FBS. Quarterback Maddux Madsen is one of three quarterbacks in the country to throw 13 or more touchdowns without an interception, totaling 1,296 yards on 110 completion. His 166 attempts are the most among FBS quarterbacks who have not thrown an interception.

Left tackle Tyler Ethridge has played a team-high 423 offensive snaps, tallying a Pro Football Focus pass blocking grade of 72.6, highest among Pac-12 left tackles who have started every game. Left guard has been split between Zander Esty, Jason Steele and Carson Rasmussen. Steele (87.2) and Esty (85.3) have the highest PFF pass blocking grades on the unit while Rasmussen posted a season-best 86.6 pass blocking grade in his last full game (Sept. 19).

Center Stewart Taufa, who entered the season with nine career offensive snaps, has a PFF run blocking grade of 76.4, fifth-best in the nation among starting centers. Right guard Roger Carreon, a team captain, is the second highest-rated right guard in the country, according to PFF, tallying a grade of 80.7. Right tackle Daylon Metoyer has played 366 offensive snaps, fifth-most on the team, and posted a season-high 71.0 PFF pass blocking grade at Fresno State.

Boise State returns to action with a Pac-12 showdown at Washington State on Oct. 24. The Broncos and Cougars will meet at 4 p.m. MT, with the game airing on USA Sports.
